Jill AND Mary

Jillian Shennessy (born on November 25 in 1968) is a Canadian actor, performer and singer that made waves in American television. The show has been highly praised for her exceptional performance on the American TV show Law & Order in which she was Claire Kincaid as a prosecutor for three seasons. She also appeared on Crossing Jordan, wherein she was Jordan Cavanaugh the main character for six seasons. Hennessy has also showcased her talents as an actor in films like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and independent movies Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class, where she also worked on her scriptwriting and co-directing muscles. Hennessy started her acting career along with her sister in 1988 as the twins of callgirls on Dead Ringers. She had a brief stint on Broadway as a part of the show Buddy The Buddy Holly Story in 1990. The Buddy Holly Story during the year 1990 and stepped into the sci-fi world in 1993 playing Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3. Her big break was later in the year, when she joined the cast of the cult NBC crime show Law & Order as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. The role was a hit with the viewers for three seasons until she left it in 1996. Parker is well-known for her role in films, series and television shows such as RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys by the Side as well as the West Wing Angels of America. She received a Golden Globe Award for Best actress and also an Emmy Award. Parker was awarded the Tony Award 2001 for Best Actress in the Broadway production Proof.
